560501 John Ambrose is working-out with homemade 'barbells' -- a bar with two large slabs of tree trunk. Some may remember John as a dedicated weight lifter at both the YMCA and FMTA.  According to one of his two younger brothers, Allan, John had earned 30 or 40 weight lifting trophies before entering the military.
