The Kaufman brothers sold the building to Bland Electric in 1957. The structures were razed during urban renewal and replace in 1975 by Pittsfield's Central Fire Station, which still stands on the site today, shown above. KB Toys filed for bankruptcy in 2008 and its brand name has been acquired by Toys 'R Us.
