130517 Classmate John Cook died on May 17, 2013, in Yorktown, VA. His daughter, Michelle, sent this message:

Dad had been battling pancreatic cancer for six months and had slipped into a coma last weekend.  Mom had brought him home from the hospital a little over two weeks ago.  So, he died peacefully with all the family with him.  We are all hanging in there and know that dad is in a better place.  It's just been so hard and unbelievable how quickly he passed.
