Today is Sunday, July 13, the 195th day of 2008.

On this date in 1878, the Treaty of Berlin amended the terms of the Treaty of San Stefano, which had ended the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1878.

Also on this date in history, 1949 to be exact, occurred an incident involving an honor to a class member that was of such importance that it was highlighted in the Berkshire Eagle today on Page B3. See the attached file for the details.
