A Women's Essay on Growing up in Pittsfield

I asked a woman who is a member of our class and who had commented on my obvious fondness for Pittsfield and the memories I have to remember how it was for her to grow up in Pittsfield in the 40s and 50s.

She responded with this short and touching essay. I think it is a beautiful expression of our youthful days in Pittsfield.

I hope you enjoy her thoughts as much as I have.
