St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Adams, shown above in the 1970s, was built by Polish immigrants in 1902 and served the parish until Dec. 26, 2008, when the last Mass was celebrated as part of a plan by the Springfield diocese to consolidate the parishes in town.
