The Crawford Square Building at 137 North St. in Pittsfield was still an F.W. Woolworth dime store when photo above was taken in the early 1950s. The Woolworth company erected the building at a cost of $55,000 in 1935 to replace a 1909 structure that burned. The old Grant's store is to the Crawford Buiding''s left. The Textile Store is on the extreme right of the picture.
