Tony Adornetto, LT, USAR
I graduated from the Army ROTC at RPI in 1961- that's me lying on the ground. I was the flag bearer because I was the shortest. I then went to a 6 months training program for Automotive Maintenance Officers at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Then off to Fort Hood, TX, as an Ordinance Maintenance Platoon Leader of 120 men (can you believe?) for the remainder of my tour. Again, that's me at the BOQ at Fort Hood. I received an Honorable discharge as a 1st Lieutenant on October 11, 1963.
