The Stanley Club at 66 Wendell Ave. in Pittsfield, shown above in 1953, had just moved from the main house on the property to this barn, damaged by fire in 1948 and rebuilt for club activities. Organized as a social organization in 1924 by employees of GE, it functioned under GE auspices until 1931(????), when it became an independent entity.
