From the Eagle, 1/4/09, This 24-room mansion at the western corner of East and Fourth streets in Pittsfield was bult around 1816 by Japez Peck, whose sons operated a textile mill on Peck's Road. It was purchased by St. Luke's Hospital in 1953.
